At EUROLINK our main interest is to help our students speak effectively and fluently. We provide different learning strategies using the method which best adapts to their needs and encourages them to communicate easily in Spanish. Since we opened in 1991 we have come a long way improving, innovating and acquiring more experience to make the teaching of Spanish effective, easy and entertaining. We work on the four skills, reading, writing, listening and speaking with the aim of obtaining the maximum communication and participation in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. We have qualified native teachers with ample experience on teaching and we offer flexible timetables to suit our students’ needs and level. Cursos en grupo: Número medio de 6 estudiantes por clase. The Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE) are official certificates, which prove the Spanish competence and command, given by Cervantes Institute on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science. A. This Spanish course consists of 4 classes a day  and  includes: 1 class of communicative grammar and reading comprehension. 1 class of vocabulary with oral and writing practice . 1 class  of conversation with a listening comprehension, oral interaction ,a video, a song or a role play. 1 class on exam practice B. This Spanish course consists of  5 classes a day and includes: 1 class of communicative grammar and reading comprehension. 1 class of vocabulary with oral and writing practice. 1 class  of conversation with a listening comprehension, oral interaction ,a video, a song or a role play. 2 classes on exam practice Levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. Starting Dates: Any Monday, throughout the year. Min. Duration: 1 week. Our courses are for children, teenagers and adults who want to learn or improve their knowledge of Spanish. We also prepare for the D.E.L.E. (Spanish Language Diploma)  exams organized by the Cervantes Institute. Summer Course for Children and Teenagers This course is planned for teenagers between 8 and 17 years old (both inclusive). You can choose among 2, 3 or 4 weeks and there are special starting dates. (Please, consult the school for any other duration or date). Levels: All. Starting Dates in 2014: From  June 2nd to August 18 th (both inclusive). Min. Duration: 2 weeks Minors will be accompanied from the moment of their arrival at the airport. As the TRANSFER (from Málaga Airport) is included in the course, a professional person will pick students up at the airport and will bring them directly to their accommodation and take them back at the end of their stay. Inscription and Course Payment Inscriptions can be made in the following ways: 1. By internet through our web site Enrollment Form (Please, complete this form and send it to us. Thank you). 2. It is also possible to make copies of a document with a photo. *The inscription is only accepted when a minimum prepayment of 100 €, which will be deducted from the total fee or the total amount of the stay, is made by: 1. Bank / wire transfer, indicating the participant name. (Contact the school to get the bank details please). 2. Credit Card (Visa, Master Card) 3. Postal giro to Academia Eurolink C/ Cantarranas 21 Alhaurín el Grande ,Málaga (España) 4. In cash, when the inscription is made directly in the school office. Important: • For stays for groups the only way to make the payment is via bank transfer. • If the student pays via bank he will be responsible for paying all bank charges. • It is necessary to send by mail the receipt of payment indicating the participant’s name. • If only a prepayment has been made before arrival, the rest of the payment must be made on the first day of course, at the latest, in the school office and in cash. • Students will obtain detailed arrival information once they have received the Eurolink course confirmation and, subsequently, have paid the 100 € prepayment. • Minors will need a signed parental authorisation form and a passport photocopy of the parent who signed the authorisation. Organization and class schedule • Every lesson has a duration of 50 minutes. The classes will be carried out entirely in Spanish from the first day and without using any other language. Eurolink teaching staff are all native Spanish speakers. • The maximum number of students per class is 6 and the minimum is 2. If the minimum number cannot be reached, the students will receive a 50% of the lessons in an individual way and without paying the difference of the price, always taking care of the participant, following these rules: o Course of 15 lessons in group shifts to 8 individual lessons o Course of 20 lessons in group shifts to 10 individual lessons. o Course of 25 lessons in group shifts to 13 individual lessons. In any case, the student does not have to pay the difference in price. • The classes will be timetabled either in the morning or in the afternoon / evening, from Monday to Friday, except holidays. Bank holidays: The bank holidays in the Spanish Labour Calendar are: 1 January, 6 January, 28 February, Maundy or Holy Thursday, Holy Friday (Easter), 1 May, 15 August, 12 October, 1 November, 6 December, 8 December, 25 December, plus two local holidays. The Spanish Labour Laws say holidays falling on Sundays will be celebrated on the following Monday. When there are two bank holidays in the same week, EUROLINK only takes one of them. There are no classes on these days, no replacement classes are offered (except for the individual courses and Group Stays) and there is no refund for lost classes.  * The organization of transfers (both pick up service and excursions) are carried out by our school in collaboration with professionals with all the insurances and legal licences required for this kind of activities.

  • The ACCOMMODATION for this course is HOME-STAY, full board which includes three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), double or single room.
  • The arrival is on the Sunday before the start of the course (from 12.00 hrs.), and the departure, on the Saturday, just after the end of it (before 17.00 hrs.). Any arrival before or departure after that must be made clear to the school and the extra nights paid.
  • The host families are  totally trust worthy and with experience. Students’ parents will receive in advance the address and the type of “family” where their children will live in. The Spanish family will have also all the information about the students who are going to live with them before their arrival: “curfew” for night outings, nutritional habits, possible allergies, 24 hour telephone number for emergencies, ,…

The families compromise to spend at least an hour a day talking to the students as part of the immersion programme The Spanish families are in contact with the monitor and the school for any subject or information. Host families will take the students to the school on the first day of class.

  • During their stay there will be a MONITOR in charge of:
    • Being the point of reference for all students. Therefore there will be an initial meeting the first day of the course to know each other (monitor / students and student / student) and to explain how the programme works.
    • Over-seeing class attendance, making sure that the students are benefiting from the classes and behaving appropriately in them.
    • Controlling the attendance to all activities. Students will be expected to attend all those especially programmed for them.
  • Being available to the Spanish family call if the student doesn’t respect the “curfew” for night outings.
  • Every going out, course or activity not organized by the school must be authorized by the parents and communicated to the school.
  • Being available on the 24-hour mobile phone number for emergencies.
  • Each student will have a STUDENT CARD, to obtain discounts in various shops (book shops, photo shops, restaurants, fitness centres etc.)
  • Before the course starts, students will take a LANGUAGE TEST in order to join the most suitable group according to their Spanish level.
  • The method of the INTENSIVE SPANISH COURSE OF 3 classes a day is totally adapted for them. The small groups make the learning of Spanish more productive and friendlier.

Eurolink organizes a DAILY PROGRAMME OF CULTURAL AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES, which are carried out by the monitor and long experienced teachers. These activities take place in the afternoon and are of obligatory attendance for the minors. Some of them are cultural walks, sports such as swimming, tennis, football among others. Besides the school offers a tutorial once a week , in which students have the possibility to go through the most difficult points of the Spanish grammar or an extra conversation class( subject to number of students interested).

  • An EXCURSION per week to Andalusian towns and cities of interest such as Málaga, Granada  Sevilla and Córdoba.
  • At the end of the course each participant will receive an Eurolink Attendance Certificate.
  • Participants can use extra services of our school: free access to Internet, a loan service of books and DVDs.
  • Any course, excursion or activity that does not concern with the school has to be authorized by the parents and communicated to the school.
  • It is necessary for students to bring their medical insurance (European card or private insurance). If required, our school can provide a medical insurance for the duration of the stay.
  • There are Behaviour Rules for minors, that the school will provide both parents and students before arrival and that will have to be accepted in order to enrol on our courses. If, once in the school, they will not comply with them, their parents will be informed and Eurolink will take all the necessary steps according to the seriousness of behaviour.
